Our Purpose

Why We Do What We Do

Nepal faces significant environmental challenges, from climate change impacts to biodiversity loss. At the same time, many communities struggle with poverty and lack of sustainable development opportunities.

We believe that these challenges are interconnected and must be addressed together. Our work is driven by the understanding that:

Conservation is effective only when rooted in community participation
Long-term Dhole protection requires addressing human-wildlife conflict
Empowering local voices strengthens biodiversity conservation outcomes
Cross-border and multi-stakeholder collaboration is essential for success
Scientific research must inform and guide grassroots action
Awareness and education are the foundation of lasting environmental stewardship
